SheetLeadGen ("the Add-on") is a Google Sheets add-on developed by Deer Rock Studios ("we", "us").

Data We Access

The Add-on requests the following Google permissions:

Google Sheets — to read column headers and cell data (domains, names) and write email results back to your sheet.
External network requests — to verify email addresses via third-party APIs and to scrape publicly available contact pages for email addresses.
Container UI — to display the sidebar and menu items within Google Sheets.

Data We Store

Verification cache — Email verification results are cached for 24 hours using Google Apps Script's CacheService to avoid redundant API calls. This cache is stored within Google's infrastructure and expires automatically.
Usage counter — A monthly verification count is stored per user via Google Apps Script's PropertiesService to enforce free-tier limits. No personal data is stored.

Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit your spreadsheet data to our servers.
We do not have servers. All processing happens within Google Apps Script.
We do not track usage analytics or install any tracking code.
We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

The Add-on sends individual email addresses to eva.pingutil.com for SMTP verification. This is the only external service contacted. No other data is shared.

Data Retention

Cached verification results expire after 24 hours. Usage counters reset monthly. No data persists beyond these periods.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any data associated with your use of this Add-on. Since we store no personal data on our servers, uninstalling the Add-on effectively deletes all associated data.

Children's Privacy

This Add-on is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
